When I first picked up photography as a hobby, I wanted to lock down memories that I knew I wouldn't be able to remember in detail later. The beauty and emotion of my grandma's smile while she was in hospice. The tiny fingers and toes of my last baby. The growth and special moments for my older kids.
I have grown photography from a hobby to a gift I can offer to others to help remember those special moments in their lives.
The beginning.
I love a good bargain and I picked up my first "professional" camera on craigslist. While I have invested in my camera gear and education since that day, the experience of learning on that camera has taught me how to work with my camera in most situations!
